"Gorey" rehearsals begin tomorrow...

Life Jacket Theatre Company is offering a work-in-progress showing of its latest production, GOREY. This production provides a rare, haunting glimpse inside the hidden life of one of the most original, creative, and enigmatic artists and authors of the 20th century. Combining found text, stunning stagecraft, and inventive storytelling, this production explores Gorey’s dark imagination, his personal demons, and the heartbreaking loneliness of creative genius.
Featuring Andrew Dawson*, Dylan Riley-MacArthur, and Mark Woodard*. Writer/Director: Travis Russ. Assistant Director/Stage Manager: Jeannine Frumess*.

"Four Score" and "Laura Ingalls Wilder"

Busy last month as I was directing two shows back to back for Artspower National Touring Theater. What a wonderful time I had working with two terrific casts.
Now they are on the road across America...safe travels to them!

300mg Lavender for exhaustion. 500mg Kava Kava for anxiety. Stagger haphazardly follows Walt Whitman into an uncertain sexual underworld while memories of his best friend, Card, cling to him like a Lyme-carrying tick. Pills, bugs, and sexuality collide like poetry.
